Cookie Policy

This policy explains how and why we use cookies and similar technologies on this site. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. Together we refer to them as "cookies" here.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function — session state, security tokens, consent preferences. These cannot be disabled and do not require your consent under most regimes.

Analytics (optional)

If you consent, we use privacy-preserving analytics to understand aggregate usage — page views, referrer paths. No cross-site tracking or third-party ad-network cookies.

Marketing (off by default)

We do not currently run advertising campaigns using this website. If we ever add campaign-attribution tracking, it will be opt-in and disclosed here first.

3. Consent management

On first visit you are shown a cookie banner offering "Accept all", "Reject", or per-category "Configure." Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we re-ask. You can revisit your preferences at any time by clearing the site's local storage or emailing us at privacy@thezybersecurity.com.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) automatically — if your browser sends the GPC signal, we treat you as having opted out of any non-essential processing.

4. Third-party cookies

We do not set third-party advertising cookies. If we embed content from third parties (video, calendar, maps) on any page, we use privacy-friendly embed modes wherever available, and disclose the vendor here before launching the embed.

5. Your rights

See our Privacy Policy for the full list of rights under GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act 2023, and the India IT Act 2000. To exercise any right specifically relating to cookies, email privacy@thezybersecurity.com.

6. Changes

We update this policy whenever our cookie use changes. See the "Last updated" timestamp above.
