Questions

Before you apply.

Is the internship paid?

No. It's an unpaid, remote internship focused on learning and building a portfolio. Hours are flexible so you can fit it around study or work.

Do I need a degree or certifications?

No. We look at what you've done: labs, CTFs, write-ups, bug reports or code. Certifications are welcome but never required.

Will I test real client systems?

Only after you've worked in our lab, and only inside a client's written scope with a practitioner supervising. Nothing is ever tested without written authorisation.

How do I apply?

Email contact@thezybersecurity.com with the subject "Internship application", a few lines about you, and links to your work. A personal email address is fine. We reply to every application.

Will you ever ask me to pay or share ID documents?

Never. We don't charge fees for internships or training, and we don't ask for ID before an interview. Anyone who does is not us; report it to security@thezybersecurity.com.
